“Ordinary images” is a collection of low-resolution photos of random objects found in the streets, photographed from a mobile phone. They are printed on golden paper following little to no processing. The composition and the golden background of the photos are selected intentionally, in order to evoke, on one hand – possible associations with religious icons, and on the other – those of advertisement images. However, the objects on the photos are drastically far removed from religion or advertising.

The photo series indicates the associative role of symbols and images lingering in consciousness, one that influences one’s perception and establishment of value systems.
